Flipkey Plannng to Accept More Currencies

Flipkey have announced that they will begin allowing owners to price in their local currency.

One of the disadvantages of Flipkey is that, up until now, all vacation rental prices were listed in US dollars. Not only was this sometimes confusing for European owners and renters, it also created a risk of losing money if the exchange rate changed between the time of booking and payment. (In addition, you inevitably lose a little in converting to your own currency.

This brings Flipkey into line with almost every other Vacation Rental site (and it's not clear why it took them so long). Flipkey seems to have lost a lot of momentum this year, with numerous changes in personnel on the marketing side. Perhaps this is a signal that Flipkey may be getting back on track.
